A Hostelling International membership card is necessary to stay at hostels for a reduced cost. In some countries, for example Austria and Germany, a membership is required to stay in hostels.

Please provide us with the following:
- Name
- Address
- Date of Birth
- Profession (if applicable)
Membership fees must be paid before departure to the Austrian Hostelling Association’s main office per bank transfer – membership cards are only valikd upon receipt of payment.
A Hostelling International membership card is valid until the end of the calendar year. Memberships may be cancelled until 15 October of the present year, otherwise they will automatically be extended until November of the following year.
A membership offers many opportunities for little money! Prices vary according to age:
- Chidren and youths under 16 years: free
- 16 – 26 Years: €15,–
- 27 years and older: €25,–
*A family membership is an affordable bonus for families on the go! For only €25,– per year both parents and all children up to their sixteenth birthday enjoy all the advantages of membership.
